Dig this: Wildwood is a 27-hole Championship golf course (plus 9 hole par three course) located in the gorgeous Surrey countryside with the charming Phil Harrison as the resident pro. The clubhouse is to die for, as you can see, the meals and drinks are VERY reasonable (steak and eggs or full English breakfast---sausage, 2 eggs, mushrooms, grilled tomato, 2 rashers of back bacon, toast, and baked beans---$11), there is a huge banquet room with bar (much larger than the clubhouse), a gym, and at the moment there is NO joining fee, and the yearly membership is a paltry $1,800---that’s UNLIMITED golf and includes FIVE lessons! Such a deal.

You would expect to pay about $75-$100 for green fees on this beautiful course...if you averaged only one round a week, that’s what...$3,900-$5,200!!!
