The “drafty” cottage David and Primmie first lived in at the beginning of the war from where she would cycle to and from the Vickers factory in Slough, several miles away. Clark Gable was a frequent visitor as he was stationed in the Midlands...this was his refuge from military life

The “phony” Tudor villa they lived in til the end of the war and had the two boys. Primmie left this house in 1946 to join David in Pacific Palisades and tragically meet her death just weeks later at Tyrone Power’s house by falling down some basement steps
