Inn on the Green

Was the Red Lion til 2000...where Gina’s great great grandfather was landlord from 1881 to 1900!

Now how bizarre is it that before Gary and Franky’s 40th (when this book wasn’t even a twinkle), I am chasing down a vintage kitchen scale in Essex...a part of the country I never go to...see the “Cranham” van in front of me, think of Gina and write to her, then a year later move two miles away from the Inn on the Green and she becomes Muse for the book!
